Thanks for taking the time to visit my website. I have been a bankruptcy paralegal preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 for attorneys since 1988.
Education and experience: I have an Associates Degree as a paralegal and 34 years of experience preparing bankruptcy petitions.
Fees: I charge a flat rate of $200.00 for Chapter 7 and a flat rate of $200.00 for Chapter 13, plan excluded (We will collaborate with you to develop a Chapter 13 plan, but will not create it without your input and legal expertise). At your request, I will also electronically file the petition for you for an additional fee of $25.00.
Electronic filing: We use the latest software and are up to date on the court's requirements. We will provide you with an e-filing package ready to upload to the court's website. Or, if you prefer, we will upload the file for you.
Why hire Independent Paralegal Services? You only pay me for the work I actually produce, on a contract basis. You do not need to provide me with a salary, benefits or do employee withholding. Contracting out bankruptcy preparation will free up you and/or your staff to perform other duties.
Billing: $100.00 of the fee is due when you order. The remaining $100.00 is due upon your email approval of the file. Your signing and filing the documents with the bankruptcy court also constitutes your approval, at which time your final payment is due. In order to keep our fees as low as possible, we send you an invoice electronically. You may also use the PayPal link below to make a payment.
